Season 4, Episode 2
The teams continue from the pit stop and participate in Italian snow rafting. They then head to Venice, where they are faced with a Detour: Waterway or Pathway. After the Detour, the teams are all bunched togehter by a five P.M. opening for their location, except for Steve and dave, who use the Fast Forward to advance to first place at the pit stop. The teams participate in the Roadblock, which involves trying to match a photo of a mask with one being worn by someone at a party. However, there are many similar masks, so the task proves somewhat difficult. Chris has extreme difficulty with the task and hands the photo of the mask to the incorrect person twice, each time being forced to go to the back of the line. This creates significant difficulty, as only four racers are allowed in at a time. He finally finds the correct person, but it is too late and he and Amanda reach the pit stop last and are eliminated from the race.

The Spies go camping in a remote Saskatchewan Forest to investigate the garbled but alarming message from a TV news crew who vanished while looking into reports of loggers, farmers and hikers disappearing in the area.

This very large privately owned house, built across Medieval, Georgian and Victorian periods, is said to play host to strange noises, doors opening and closing, dark figures in corridors and a room that seems to harbour a number of spiritual entities. When spiritualist medium Derek Acorah picks up on the sprit of a woman called Ruth, only the property owner Fred Batt can explain the extraordinary link. Fred also owns a Caesars nightclub in London, which is said to be haunted by 1950s socialite Ruth Ellis.

With Tom's family trapped in his house with a bomb, and nothing Tom or the other spooks can do but watch on. There is a huge explosion and the credits begin. However, there is no time to focus on these events as a Serbian warlord has been seen entering the UK vowing revenge for the death of his sons in a NATO bombing raid. Zoe is sent undercover to track him down, and stop any more deaths.

Both Bell and The Herald want to interview Dominic Foy, especially when they discover he has had a past relationship with Sonia Baker.

Problem is that years of putting up with being surrounded by the media and the secret service have turned her into a real brat whenever her father's not around. All of which means the girls are keeping their distance making it easy for a giant robot spider to kidnap her and a mystery man demand a mad scientist be released or else Madison's never coming home!
