Telly is doing a “Monster on the Spot” report about Baby Bear, who is telling the story of what really happened to the three bears as their porridge cooled. Instead of walking, they were very active as they ran and jumped through the woods. Suddenly, they find they’re lost in the magic garden of a wizard who put a spell on them and turned them into ducks. Baby Bear, using fun science words, tests his hypothesis that the type of animal they turn into depends on the kind of animal sound they make. Through his experiment, he finds out that his guess is correct! They all make bear sounds and transform into bears again. The wizard wouldn’t let them out of the garden until they name three things about vegetables. With the help of the Singing Vegetables singing, “We Are the Vegetables,” the three bears figure out that vegetables are delicious, are good for you…and are musical!

Fran Drescher drops by to give Val and Lauren some advice about dating younger men because Val goes out with a cute, intelligent, funny, and sweet guy. He seems totally perfect until Val finds out that he's still in high school.. Holly and Vince have a custody battle over Ben, Tina, and Gary. Holly may have forgiven Tina but she hasn't forgiven Vince. To top Vince, Holly takes Ben, Gary, and Tina to Cancun in Mexico, where she unexpectedly runs into Vince. Vince tries to p* off Holly by flirting with a ditsy girl and Holly reacts by saying that she and Vince can never be friends again. When Holly gets food poisoning, Vince takes care of her while the others go off to have fun. In the end, Holly wants to be friends with Vince again but Vince declines her wish by saying that he wants to be her boyfriend, not just her friend.

After Billy's baseball team loses badly against Mindy's, Grim decides to coach them. Mandy is not allowed on the team, as Billy is reluctant to let girls play, although he does not realize Mindy is a girl too. Mandy puts on a baseball cap and, assuming the role of "Manfred", pitches for Billy's team anyway. With additional help from ghoulish players which played in the Underworld Little Leagues alongside Grim, Billy's team wins when Pud'n hits a home run.

While at Sassy Cat Land, the theme park dedicated to Sassy Cat (and to ridiculously long lines), Billy, Mandy, and Grim stumble upon a closed attraction, a futuristic "house of tomorrow". Inside, they find Master-Control, a sentient and autonomous, thinking, feeling artificial intelligence computer program claiming to know everything (and wishing death upon the trio when Billy angers him), and Tom Smith, a tour guide that became trapped in the house when it closed forty years ago. Tom explains that the attraction closed when a kid, actually Billy's dad, annoyed Master-Control with his dumb questions, and the robots started attacking the humans. Billy, Mandy and Grim exit the house unharmed, but Tom misses his opportunity to escape and is left behind again.
